When people put their home up for sale, they have to find another home to live in. They are just changing homes. It doesn't increase supply, because they give one and take one. The supply line isn't lowering the price enough to make homes affordable. In 1990s you only need to earn 25% of the price of your home to buy one. Today homes are so expensive, it's not just 4x your salary. Even in McAllen where average income is low, homes are costing $500K, which also means $12,500 annual property tax, when income is about $50,000.

Every year legal immigrants send over 60 billion dollars overseas to their relatives, taking that money out of the American economy entirely. Texas is completely unaffordable. Five years ago, it was normal, but those fleeing blue states contributed to home inflation. Can't blame them for leaving Marxist Democrat states, but demand killed affordability. What's next? Texas, like ither states will lose jobs due to national debt problems and woke liberals putting a stake in the heart of oil production. . And, Texas will become cheap again due to a national depression. No state can escape Bidenomics and over regulation by insane environmentalists unless that state secedes. I hope Texas secedes soon. Then over the years I had dreams of standing at the base of the Statue of Liberty looking over to Manhatton, but I was climbing up and down large rocks and boulders around the base of the statue. Now I understand those dreams. I refused to never step foot into N.Yk because of those dreams. RIP to all the ♥souls♥ that died. Absolutely tragic and horrific.
